Ski In Ski Out Colony Mountain Estate: We enjoyed the scenic location. Ski out from the back yard. I loved the nice big master suite with king bed and walk in closet. His and hers bath with large steam shower. Beautiful great room with a piano and a large fire place. Lots of firewood available for nice log fires. Hot tub of course. We soaked in that daily. Beautiful old barn wood upstairs. I enjoyed all of the framed posters throughout the house. Lots to do when we weren't skiing. We watched movies in the home theater room or played ping pong. There was even an xbox. We ate and played games in and around the kitchen and dining table. Stock up when you come and there won't be much need to go anywhere else during your stay.

Mountain Wedding Our family stayed at the timber frame for my brother's wedding and the home exceeded our expectations. Pictures don't do it justice, the home is beautiful both inside and out with incredible views of both park city and deer valley ski resorts. There are tons of beds and a great layout to accommodate big groups with diverse interests and waking hours. Its' proximity to main street, Jordanelle reservoir, shopping, etc. made the logistics of all activities easy. From the bachelor party on main, to shopping on main and at the nearby outlet malls to restaurants, boating on the nearby lake, hiking over pass, trails out the back door everything was convenient. We had a chef in for the rehearsal dinner that cooked in the chef's kitchen and made a spectacular meal that was raved about the entire trip.

Absolutely amazing! A friend recommended VRBO to us to find something for our family vacation/reunion. We stayed here for about a week right before Christmas. Even though there's not much snow at the resort, being up in the mountains was beautiful. The home is huge and had plenty of space for the adults to hang out in the kitchen while the kids/teens were able to go their separate ways. Overall, this was the BEST vacation we've ever taken and we will certainly return to Park City when there is more snow!

Made it the best ski trip ever! Your expectations will be exceeded with this true ski-in/out condo. As other reviews have pointed out, this condo has a back door that goes straight out to the slopes, unlike others. It's also easy for accessing the two hot tubs and the ski locker room, which we found to be very handy. You will save lots of time by being on the slopes, mid-mountain (no waiting for shuttles or walking from parking lots). The kitchen has high-end appliances and a very cozy breakfast room. Both the breakfast room and the family room offer incredible views of the slopes and Silver Lake area, as well as wonderful sunrises. We loved sitting by the fire with a cup of coffee or cocoa on the comfortable sofas, enjoying the views. Nice touches include several humidifiers (since Utah's air is so dry ... making for great snow). Each of the 3 bedrooms has it's own bathroom and there's also a hallway powder room. The washer & dryer were very convenient as well. The owner is very easy to deal with, and the property manager was as well (he met us right on time and helped bring our luggage up from the parking level. You can purchase lift tickets just steps away across the ski run at the Shooting Star building (signs posted on ski run). When you need to go into Park City, it's only 10 minutes and two turns away. I cannot recommend this unit enough. We are already thinking about our next visit and can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Simply the best! Nothing can describe this experience! This is a true ski in ski out condo - you can leave your skis right at your doorstep. The owner was very easy to talk to and really helped us find our way around the area! This was our first experience in Utah and nothing can top this!

Fantastic Rental Experience. We stayed in the condo for 8 nights at the end of March 2010. The owner, Tracy Roth is so easy to deal with and extremely responsive to anything you need. The condo is upscale and well laid out. The best feature is the walk-on/off the slopes which most Empire condos don't have. We skiied home for lunch and would grill, etc and be back on the slopes within 40 minutes. All the amenities are very nice and the staff/concierge are top notch. We would stay again without hesitation.
